What are RO filters doing to you and your surroundings?

It feels so good to drink pure filtered water from the RO system water filters but do you even know how it’s affecting too badly on the environment and even the water coming out from it.

RO meaning reverse osmosis came and used by people in 1977. Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification process that uses a partially permeable membrane to separate ions, unwanted molecules and larger particles from drinking water.

But in spite of just filtering out the water, it does more than that which is not even good to a human or entire environment.

1. It cuts out all the minerals

2. Leaves pH acidic levels

3. Wastes more than half of the water that it filters and produces.

4. Hectic maintenance

5. Expensive system and service

These all drawbacks lead us back to the times when people used the desi methods suitable to all like boiling the water for the clean water. Keeping the water in copper vessels to protect the minerals, and much more.
