Sanitation, Women, Children, Starting New projects, Helping the poor, Maintaining the Laws. Improving the environment, Building up new markets, considering everyone with no age bar, and much more tasks that fall on the list of a successful administrator. MC councilor Aruna Arora fits about right in this list.
Aruna Arora is a woman who just needed to get out and provide people with the best resources. It is not the power that reflects but the direction of the discipline that goes a long way. It always seemed like Jalandhar City required an MC councilor like her.
Even in the recent times of Covid-19, she has been dedicated. She wakes up early and checks on the sanitation and cleanliness to make sure that Covid could get in control. Municipal councilor Aruna Arora walks around the streets of Model Town, Lajpat Nagar, and New Jawahar Nagar in her Ward No. 27 wearing a mask and gloves and accompanied by six safai karamcharis she has employed on her own. She ensures that all streets are swept and that garbage stacks are removed before they begin to disperse.
She says, “I hired some garbage collectors who come to my neighborhood every morning for an hour or so. They carry their carts in and pick up all the trash from the side of the roads. My whole ward is spotless by 9 a.m.”
This is not anything else but a woman warrior and a shield as a human being to protect people. Many deeds have already been done by her to date. She has been serving with all her dedication and surely she tries her best to bring out the greatness and betterment of the city.
