Your Ultimate Wedding Destination
This ceremonial room, which is located on the outskirts of Bangkok, promises to host memorable weddings. The project, designed by PHTAA living design, enchants with its understated and polished aesthetic, complete with white arches and lush greenery that seem to have been plucked from a fairy tale.
The room, which was inspired by Khan Maak, a Thai rite of passage that celebrates marriage, allows for a procession of family and guests. The original tradition calls for grooms and guests to form a procession outside the bride’s house to announce the engagement to the entire community.
The tradition was carried out in every corner of the ceremony area, with walkways simulating the procession beneath the arches. The framework represents village streets, where the bride and groom, as well as their guests, can be seen by their neighbours.
The guests’ reception is arranged in a gallery-hall with pictures of the couple on view. The space, which is surrounded by gardens, serves as a transition between the main hall, where the ceremony takes place, and the ballroom.
